@@GovnaBuckingham you’ve obviously not read or understood the article he has just released. When he did the video, he wasn’t aware that the higher ups in CA had decided to make major changes to how siege maps worked in the game. How they originally would work is that each settlement would have a single map, regardless of development level - The Rome siege map for example would be the same size turn 1 as it would be on turn 100. What he’s discussing in this vid is how the AI was designed to work on those single maps. The higher ups in CA basically decided to scrap that last minute and make smaller, medium, and large versions of each settlement and he was never told until after the vid was released. He said he would never have agreed to do the vid had he known this. The AI was never designed to handle the variations in siege maps sizes and they were never given enough time to fix it, hence the issues we experience when the game was released.

You have to prove that he lied before you can ask me whether I "know" he did so. Just to help, since I know from experience that lots of people who throw out the "liar" accusation are ignorant of this: "lie (verb): to make an untrue statement with intent to deceive." If you can't prove intent, you have no proof he lied. "He was part of CA lol he’s just as much to blame as anyone there" Irrational Ipse Dixit and Division fallacies. You have not offered any proof that he was part of any of the decision making that lead to the game releasing in the state it did. You're welcome to prove that he was responsible for the bugs that resulted from trying to combine land and naval battles, despite the programming team warning the design team who made the decision that it was not going to work.

@@selucusptolemy3149this video was uploaded two months before the game was released so I’m assuming the game was basically done at the time of this interview which means he was fully aware of how trash the ai was during this interview.

Right, I understand his point but the AI was just atrocious in all ways and even today is still no where “realistic.” Still feels like AI was a fail in almost all ways

I’m watching old ai battle videos and the ai was completely trash in simple open field battles not just new dlc map sieges.

Lucky it was released before the author died.
